What We Offer at Rock Solid
At Rock Solid Horsemanship, we specialize in breaking and training young horses, with a particular focus on quarter horses known for their reputable breeding and excellent conformation. Austin employs a methodical, slow-and-steady training approach that prioritizes building each horse's confidence and achieving specific outcomes.
In addition to our training services, Austin offers personalized training and horse boarding at our facility in Atascadero, CA.

AUSTIN'S METHOD
Austin strongly believes in the power of consistency. From the day that yearlings arrive to the time they are sold, Austin spends several hours a day with each horse. He believes the most important part of putting a rock solid foundation on one is showing them that they can trust humans.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Austin’s philosophy is centered around taking his time with his colts. He’s learned over the years that the slower he goes at the beginning the faster the horses progress. One of his core principles is to not do anything that may cause a horse to lose trust in him.
